West Michigan BioFuel Project

In 2010 Alternative Energy Solutions, through a partnership with a Michigan based power company, was able to prove the viability of producing electrical power via bio-fuel powered generators. In just 9 short months this project produced nearly 130 Megawatt hours of renewable electrical power at a cost of less than $40,000, making it one of the most successful green energy projects to date in the United States. 

AES produces a fuel called Organic Diesel. Organic Diesel, unlike more common BioDiesels, is a truly green fuel that produces no toxic waste, requires very little energy to produce, and requires no harmful chemicals in production.  Also unlike BioDiesels, Organic Diesel can be used in ratios of close to 100% whereas a typical BioDiesel is usually only 5%-20% renewable with 80%-95% of the fuel being petroleum based.

Wind and solar power have been at the forefront of the ongoing green energy efforts and will continue to do so as both provide potential long-term solutions to our energy crisis. At the same time, there is a need for a third solution: a solution that can be implemented immediately at an acceptable cost and is not dependent on the patterns of nature.
